Hurtang Farms Entrance

Hartung Farms is a warm and welcoming neighborhood that has greatly advanced over time. In 1915, the Lindow family purchased the general area of Hartung Farms and used the property for nearly 60 years as a Holstein dairy farm. The Hartung Family purchased the farm in 1957 and leased it back to the Lindows up until the late ’60s. In the early ’70s, it was sub-divided into the current housing community we have today, by former resident Ed Strandberg. The first homes were built around Circle A Drive in the first of four phases.

In 1989, major improvements were made which included a new main entrance signage and landscaping, an upgraded swimming pool and expansion of the Recreation Center.
Hartung Farms and Hartung Villas are distinct and separate developments, unrelated other than both being developed by Ed Strandberg.

Although Hartung Farms may be ahead of its time, we are dedicated to cultivating its individual character and value. This ensures that our homeowners are satisfied with the environment they live in, thus assuring their investments.
